Aisling Bea
Aisling is an Irish-born comedian, who's been performing for quite a while. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. The comedian has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born on March 16, 1984) is also known as Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in a few roles for Irish and British TV shows that began in the year 2009. From 2012 on Bea began appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. In 2012, after she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear regularly in various panel programs. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was a regular contestant in its spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents include Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. She became only the second female to win So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea is her surname in honour of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life after Bea turned three was the suicide victim. She was told about his suicide only after thirteen years of age. Bea chose to stage her name Bea in honor of her father who passed away. She also wrote an article published in The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea was raised alongside her sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, and a former professional racer. Her family were passionate about horses and races. Bea started out as an official guide for tourists at the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her passion was for performing and not racing.
